Hi Guys, so i have decided to bring you more beauty posts as requested by a few readers and today I am reviewing one of m y favourite Nigerian beauty brand Zaron Cosmetics. Zaron offer a wide range of beauty products from face to eyes and lip products. The most amazing thing about this brand is the affordability of its products which is not what we are used to in this part of the world. I was sent some lipsticks and lipstains to review and also they gifted attendees at my last makeup class products.
I have used most of the lipstains and lipsticks on myself and clients, so here is my honest review
The Zaron Lipstains are packaged in tubes with see through bottoms where you can see the different shades and are applied smoothly like gloss and dry off matte after a few seconds. It has a thick liquid consistency and its highly pigmented, It also have quite a nice satin feel after it dries up hence it does not give the flaky, dry look. However I noticed I had to re-apply using the gloss stick for a few colours like Rockstar and Royale, since using one coat made it look patchy.
L-R Jasmine, Pout, Rock Star, Royale and Brandy
Jasmine: A deep pink shade.
Pout: Bright Pink shade
Rock Star: Deep Reed with pink undertone
Brandy: Muddy brown shade ( my favourite)
Unlike the lipstains the lipsticks go on dry and very matte maybe too matte it makes it hard to apply unless the lips are well moisturised with lip balm.
Cow Girl: Bright Purple shade
Fierce: Bright red shade
Buttercotch: Nude shade
Overall, I really like these products which have demonstrated that you can have good makeup without breaking the bank. I absolutely love the vibrant Colors and how affordable they are , sold for N2500/2750, they are also long lasting.
You can purchase these products from any Zaron outlets with their head office atNo. 2, Alhaji Kanike street off Awolowo road, Ikoyi, Lagos or online
